Mene, Mene, Tekel, Obama

The Obama Campaign has released their own version of the American flag ($35, suitable for framing), which falls into the Democratic National Convention theme of “Government is the only thing that we all belong to.”  They have conveniently forgotten the concept of ‘nation’.

So, where do you think they found the inspiration?

How about Benghazi, with the evidence of the American victims being dragged from the Consulate to their deaths?

Besides the creepy notion of 'one nation, under Obama', it just goes to show that sometimes Fate can slap you with a really unfortunate juxtaposition.  Almost Biblical, wouldn't you say?  'Handwriting on the wall', as it were.

Update: The story has really spread in hardly any time at all.  Take Bryan Preston at PJ Tatler, for one example.
